Jermaine Jackson II's longtime girlfriend Asa Soltan Rahmati - who he has been dating for six years - gave birth to a "healthy" baby boy named Soltan Jackson on Friday January 10th, 2017. Asa and Jermaine brought their little bundle of joy home on Sunday night and feel like their lives have been "changed for the better" after welcoming their baby boy into the world. Before she had her little boy, Jermaine said about Asa: "She'll be a great mother because she is very tough, very strict. But I tell her, 'If you need any parenting skills or baby skills, let me know because I'm the best diaper changer there is on this planet, still to this day.'" On her Instagram Asa wrote: we are completely in Love with him. Mami, Baby, and Daddy are all doing well. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your well wishes and prayers. We are literally in heaven with our precious Soltan. This is not only the first child for Asa and Jermaine Jr, but also the first grandchild for both set of grandparents. Sky will not air a TV episode with a white actor playing Michael Jackson, after Paris Jackson said it made her "want to vomit". The show, titled Urban Myths, was due to air on Sky Arts next week and featured Joseph Fiennes playing the late singer. After its trailer was released on Thursday, Michael's daughter Paris said she was "incredibly offended" by the fact that the role had been given to a white actor. The half-hour programme also features Stockard Channing as Elizabeth Taylor and British actor Brian Cox as Marlon Brando. @TheMJCast asked @ParisJackson about her thoughts on this portrayal of Michael in a tweet and Paris responded: "I'm so incredibly offended by it, as i'm sure plenty of people are as well, and it honestly makes me want to vomit." Paris said the show is not only offensive towards her father, but "my godmother Liz as well". "Where is the respect? They worked through blood, sweat and tears for ages to create such profound and remarkable legacies. Shameful portrayal," she added. The broadcaster has since released a statement, saying it "never intended to cause any offence", and promised not to air the episode.
"We have taken the decision not to broadcast Elizabeth, Michael & Marlon, a 30min episode from the Sky Arts Urban Myths series," Sky Arts tweeted on Friday January 13th. "This decision was taken in light of the concerns expressed by Michael Jackson’s immediate family," it added. "We set out to take a light-hearted look at reportedly true events & never intended to cause any offence." Sky has also stated that Joseph Fiennes, the actor accused of "whitewashing" the role, also supports their decision not to broadcast the episode.
