Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon kicked off the Unity Summer Tour at Casino Rama in Ontario, Canada! After almost three decades, The Jacksons reunited on stage to do what they do best: perform on stage and entertain crowds! Before the show, the brothers did a backstage interview with Kiss 92.5 Toronto. Aside from a few technical difficulties, The Jacksons launched their tour Wednesday night. The show openend with a video montage of The Jackson 5 as it used to be with little brother Michael (who was a major presence through the night via stills and video and an actual tribute segment) the four remaining Jackson brothers kicked off their 95-minute show with "Can You Feel It".

Janet has signed on as an executive producer of a documentary on the lives of transgender people living around the world. New York-based Brainchild Films announced Monday (June 4th) that Janet was working on Truth and would do some of the on-camera interviews. The documentary begins production this Summer and will focus on the lives and struggles of transgender persons. Janet writes in a statement that she is working on the project to try to stop discrimination of the transgender community. Truth will be directed by Robert Jason, who previously directed a documentary for The Style Network on four transgender New Yorkers. He says Truth will feature stories from throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Latin America.
