Janet Jackson is back in action and performing at a caliber above pop stars many years her junior. The 51-year-old icon kicked off her State of the World Tour on September 7th 2017 with a stop in Lafayette, Louisiana, and she brought an impressive, career-spanning setlist and some of her fiercest choreography in years. Proceeds from the September 9, 2017 concert at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas were donated to relief efforts supporting evacuees of Hurricane Harvey; Janet met with Houston mayor Sylvester Turner and evacuees at the George R. Brown Convention Center prior to the performance. The tour is set to conclude with a concert at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on December 17, 2017. State of The World Tour tour is a continuation of 2015’s Unbreakable World Tour, which was postponed after Janet announced that she was pregnant. The show received a new name and an updated setlist that includes many fan favorites as well as cuts from her 11th LP, 2015’s Unbreakable. The show includes fan favorites from her chart-topping 'Unbreakable' album, an array of her socially conscious music she's released throughout her career, and other smash hits and soon-to-be released new tracks with a state of the art live production!
Janet had an emotional moment on stage in Houston on September 9th, which came after her performance of the song “What About,” from her 1997 album “The Velvet Rope.” When it was over, she stopped, put her hand over her face and began to cry on stage. It took Janet a moment to compose herself, with the encouragement of her audience, before saying to the crowd, “this is me.” Brother Randy Jackson who's assisting Janet on her current tour and stayed by his baby sister's side to support her during hard times, told People that Janet has a painful divorce and that she was verbally abused and felt like a prisoner in her home. Wissam Al Mana's businessman’s attorneys issued a statement saying he will not be responding to the “particular and deeply hurtful allegations”.

One of the Jackson family tragedies that has been forgotten is the murder of Tito’ Jacksons ex-wife, Delores “Dee Dee” Jackson mother of their three sons, Taj, Taryll and TJ aka 3T. TJ Jackson tweeted after the airing of the full episode: "Saddened and disappointed ABC 20/20 chose to leave out so many facts and took words out of context to make Bohana appear like a victim. The real victim was our mom who was murdered. We all love and miss you."

Tito Jackson was in Liverpool yesterday, September 11th and visited The Beatles Story museum. After taking a VIP tour, Tito Jackson said: “I enjoyed The Beatles museum here, it’s quite interesting and very exciting. Some of the memorabilia I remember seeing on TV and in magazines, so to see it in life personally just brings everything into reality. God bless The Beatles, the world’s greatest musical singing group.” Tito also stated that he had previously met all four members of The Beatles. His brother Michael, who is famous for buying the rights to many of The Beatles’ songs, would often wear ‘Beatle boots’ whilst practicing his routines. Before the tour, Tito took time to have pictures taken with guests and staff at The Beatles Story, and for lunch he visited Liverpool’s famous Cavern Club. The living legend opened the evening with a video that boldly condemned racism, white supremacy, and domestic terrorism in America and paid tribute to several unarmed black men who lost their lives after police shootings. The video transitioned into an opening performance of her Rhythm Nation call to action, “The Knowledge.” Janet entered the stage from behind a screen that proclaimed “Justice For All” and delivered strong vocals. From there, she moved through a collection of 35 hit tracks including “Feedback,” “Nasty,” “If,” and “Rhythm Nation.” It was a welcome return to form for the hitmaker, and fans took to Twitter to rave and share footage from the new debut.
